I was born and raised in a nomadic family in southern Morocco, and I was around 16 when my parents decided to settle in the city of Zagora.
Over the years, I had the opportunity to assist my brother in the activities of his tourism agency. Thanks to that experience, the time I later spent in Switzerland, and the international travel required for competitions, I have been officially licensed to work as a tourist guide in Morocco since 2023.
Although I had always dreamed of it, due to a lack of resources and financial support, I never truly believed I could become an elite athlete.
From there, I began competing against the world’s leading international trail running athletes. Over time, with experience and perseverance, I achieved a lifelong dream: becoming the first African athlete to win the GWTS World Championship in 2024 and 2025.
